Our meetings consist of short business sessions and programs such as speakers, demonstrators, and/or hands-on workshops on various aspects of bonsai. We have an open house in September, which highlights many aspects of the art of bonsai. Members’ trees are on display with demonstrations and other activities throughout the day.

January 31, 2018 – Election of officers. Pat Fritsky deomonstration on Pysanki eggs.

 

February 28, 2018 - Sue Crane - ficus forest repotting. Carl Achhammer -discussion about planning for shows and picking out which trees to prepare. and a winter deciduous discussion.

 

March 28, 2018 – Re-potting workshop - bring your own tree or work on something from here.

 

April 8, 2018 - Carl Achhammer - juniper workshop

April 21, 2018 - Secial event- all day wire workshop with Sean Smith.

 

April 25, 2018 –Bring your own tree workshop ( we can incorporate some of the techniques learned from Sean on our trees)

 

May 30, 2018 – Bring your own tree styling workshop.
